Reviews

We had done minimal planning for our four night stay in Merida but we seemed to find good food, live music and dancing no matter which direction we took from Casa Rosita. Although Casa Rosita is on a busy street, the atmosphere changes the minute you step inside. The house is private, clean, modern, functional and comfortable while managing at the same time to be somewhat rambling and charming with several outdoor areas made private by very high walls. Debbie was easy to reach by email and she made sure everything went smoothly for our arrival. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

My wife and I are just finishing two perfect weeks in Casa Rosita. In sum, it is beautifully furnished and equipped, perfectly located, immaculately clean, and most comfortable for one or two couples. Its great location allows you to walk anywhere with ease. From our first contact, the owner, Jo, was extraordinarily accommodating and helpful. It's clear she takes enormous pride in making sure her house is perfect for her guests and it shows. We would highly recommend Casa Rosita to anyone and we look forward to return visits!

We stayed at Casa Rosita before for two months, this was our second stay, and as always, it met every expectation. This was a fast trip for one week but everything we need was here, fully equipped and very comfortable. You are in the center of Merida, you can walk everywhere, we have never rented a car while here and do not have need of one. Cabs are plentiful, the first class buses will take you to the famous ruins such as Chitchen Itza, etc. Shop at Santiago mercado for fruits and vegitables, and do not forget fresh flowers! The Casita has vases for anything you buy. Pack light, the washer and dryer are right there. This will not be our last stay, checking the calendar right now!
